Answering is the easy half
Almost every WhatsApp tool can send a message. The work is deciding which of the people who replied is worth your afternoon — and making sure one of your people actually picks it up.
Answering
The half that has to happen in seconds, whether or not anyone is awake.
Replies in about three seconds
Every enquiry, any hour, no exceptions. The clock that matters starts the moment they message.
Tap-to-answer questions
Up to three buttons, or a list of ten with a second line each. They never have to type unless they want to.
Free-text questions
Ask something open — "anything else I should know?" — and whatever they write lands on the lead, word for word.
Answers from your own words
On Pro, a lead who types a real question gets a real answer from a knowledge base you wrote. Never invented, never guessed.
Or an AI assistant, no questions needed
On Pro, describe your business, who is worth your time and what to find out. It chats in their language, quotes your prices and catalogue, sends your brochure or a product photo, reads photos they send, and hands the promising ones to you.
Auto-replies you write
A welcome with your brochure attached, an exact answer when someone says "location" or "price list", and an away message outside your hours.
Knows their timezone
Booking slots in their local time, and no cheerful greeting landing at their midnight.
Sorting
The half nobody else does, and the reason the list opens with a name on it.
Scoring you control
Every answer carries a number you set. The total decides hot, warm or cold — no black box, no model deciding your business for you.
A ranked list
Opening the page IS the answer. Hot at the top, time-wasters out of the way.
Hot-lead alerts
Your phone buzzes with the name, the score and the answers. Quiet hours respected — the LEAD is never made to wait, only your alert.
Follow-ups that get sent
Scheduled inside the free 72-hour window so they cost nothing, and never sent to somebody who already replied.
Take over any time
Type once and the assistant steps back. You are never both replying at the same moment.
The team
Because the person who answers the phone is rarely the person who owns the business.
Seats included
Starter is you plus two; Pro is ten. Each person gets their own login, their own alerts and their own list.
Three ways to hand a lead over
A manager assigns, staff pick from the queue, or it goes automatically to whoever is available and least busy — hot leads first.
Alerts to the right people
Hot to the sales lead, warm to the desk, and always to whoever the lead is assigned to. Set once, per band.
Follow-ups and escalation
"Call them Thursday at 4" becomes a WhatsApp reminder at Thursday at 4. A lead nobody replies to in time gets escalated to a manager.
Notes and a timeline
Who assigned it, what was said on the phone, what the customer ordered. One line per event, on the lead, forever.
Ordello, connected
Paste an Ordello API key and the assistant quotes your live catalogue at 11pm, every order and return appears on the lead, and a review request goes out after delivery.
Selling and serving
For shops, salons, clinics and coaches — whatever comes after "yes, I want it".
One inbox for the team
Every chat, unread first. Reply with text, photos, PDFs or a voice note recorded right in the browser.
Your catalogue
Products and services with prices, stock and photos — typed in, imported from a spreadsheet, or read live from Ordello.
Orders and bookings
Log what was sold or booked, what was paid and what is left. Confirming an order marks the lead won and takes the stock.
Reminders the day before
Every booking gets a WhatsApp reminder the day before — free inside the chat window, a cheap utility message outside it.
Product cards and carts
Link a Meta catalog and a customer can browse, add to a cart and send it — it arrives as an order to confirm.
Broadcasts with your templates
Your own approved templates with a photo and a button, to a tag, a stage or your imported customers — now or scheduled.
Get paid in the chat
Send a payment link from your own Razorpay — the order marks itself paid — or a UPI QR code they scan in any app.
Follow-up sequences
A thank-you now, the price list in two days, an offer in five. Starts on a new lead, a tag or a stage; stops the moment they reply.
WhatsApp forms
A booking or enquiry form that opens inside WhatsApp. Every answer lands on the lead.
The business around it
The parts that matter on month six rather than day one.
Meta ad optimisation
Qualified leads reported back against the exact ad click, so delivery learns. Every paid plan.
Consent records
A timestamped, plain-English record for every conversation, kept five years. There for the day somebody complains.
Opt-outs honoured properly
STOP means stop, immediately and permanently, and nothing on your side can undo it.
Webhooks, import and export
A signed POST the moment a lead qualifies — Sheets, a CRM, Zapier, Make. Import contacts from a spreadsheet, export your whole list any time.
Reports
Leads and qualification, messages by day and by sender, team reply times, won and lost reasons, and which ads bring real leads.
Your shop and website, connected
Shopify and WooCommerce orders become leads with their order history; abandoned checkouts get a reminder; your website form sends enquiries straight in.
Links and QR codes that count
A link for your Instagram bio, a QR for the counter — each lead is labelled with the one that brought them.
Notifications on your phone
Install TapQual to your home screen and hear about hot leads and waiting customers the second they happen.
Instagram DMs, same inbox
Connect your Instagram and its DMs land next to WhatsApp — greeted, qualified and scored by the same assistant. “Comment PRICE” on a post sends them a DM automatically.
Your number, your words
Every line the assistant says is yours to write. There is no fixed script underneath.
What it deliberately does not do
Being honest about this is cheaper than a refund. TapQual does not send to bought lists: imported contacts need your word that they agreed, recorded on each one. It does not run a full ticketing desk with SLAs, or drip campaigns with A/B tests. If mass campaigns to cold contacts, or a support desk, is your actual problem, a broadcast platform or a helpdesk is the better buy and we would rather say so now.
